Junior Pageant

Registering entry for the pageant is acceptance and agreement to the terms contained here in. 

Entry Requirements

• Entrants must complete the online entry form including entry payment either before or on the event day
• Entry details include name, age of entrant, Pageant age group, phone number and email address of entrant Parent or Guardian.
• Entry cost is $5.00 per entrant
• Entry is open to all genders and/ or non binary pronouns between the ages of 5 and 17

Registration

• Registration can be completed online or in person
• In person registration can be completed between 12:00pm and 1:30pm – the registration desk will be located on the Regatta Foreshore
• Late registrations will not be accepted

Format

• Entrants are asked to assemble next to the Foreshore Stage by 1.50pm
• Judging will begin promptly at 2:00pm
• Entrants need to be dressed neat and tidy in a suitable summer outfit.
• While entrants will not be expected to talk while on stage, older entrants may be asked a question by the MC on the day; commentary is, however, not part of the judging criteria

Judging

• Judges will consider the originality of the outfit and personal style
• One winner will be announced in each age group (age groups: 5-7 years, 8-10 years, 11-14 years and 15-17 years)
• There will be no runner-ups
• Winners will receive a sash and prize.
• All entrants will receive an entrant’s ‘Participation’ bag
• The judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into

• Any and all photographic or video material captures during the pageants remains the property of the Royal Hobart Regatta association and its dissemination is not authorised without written, prior approval.
