We’re delighted to welcome the Tasmanian Transport Museum to the Regatta, with a wonderful piece of living transport history. Its beautifully preserved 1971 Bedford bus will be offering a nostalgic opportunity to step aboard and experience a classic mode of travel from a bygone era. The bus will operate regular tours around Hobart, departing directly from the Regatta grounds. These short trips are designed to complement a day at the Regatta, providing an engaging and family-friendly experience.

Parents and grandparents can relive their own childhood memories while introducing the next generation to this unforgettable part of Tasmania’s history. See the trains, trams and buses that were once a common sight throughout Tasmania. On selected days, enjoy a short train ride and relive train travel from a bygone era.
