To facilitate the 188th Royal Hobart Regatta roads in and around the Hobart Regatta Grounds will close to general traffic. Motorists are advised of the following:
- The access road off McVilly Drive to the Domain forehore, which includes the carpark and boatramps will close 6:00PM Wednesday, 4 Februaury 2026.
- This road closure will extend to include the McVilly Drive carpark from 6:00AM Saturday, 7 Februaury 2026.
- These roads will reopen 5:00PM Wednesday, 11 Februaury 2026.
During the 188th Royal Hobart Regatta speed reductions as well as traffic controllers will be in operation. Motorists and event goers are asked to comply with their direction(s).
